This audiobook was provided by the Author/Publisher through Audiobook Jukebox for an honest review
I will start the review by admitting that I did not really check more then the blurb “Lydia and Ross have both been hurt in the past. However, they find themselves thrown together, fighting the same enemy and unable to stop the events that will eventually pit one man's vengeance against the strength of a woman's love.” So was not expecting a historical western, not really one of my favorite genres…I like more contemporary western/cowboys. That being said, it was not horrible, just not my cuppa tea….what saved the book for me was an excellent narrator, Ellen Archer did a fabulous job, if I had been reading the book I would have DNF’d it but the narration was good enough to keep me listening.
This is my first Sandra Brown book and while well written, I think I will try something more recent as “historical romance” is not something I gravitate towards. So story wise I would say for me it was only about 2 stars but the narration was 4 stars
