Bittersweet Blood - Nina Croft 3.5 StarsThis is the first time I have read this author and glad I did, it was equal parts interesting, silly, and romantic (not sure that is the right word but it's what I've got at the moment) What kept this from being a full 4 star read is that while I did enjoy it, it was very very predictable. Once the "investigation" started and the fae and demons showed up it was pretty much a no brainier, the only surprising thing was was finding out James was Smokey...although I did have a bit of an inkling right before the reveal but that aside I thought it was a fun story. I liked Tara and all things considered I think she handled all the discoveries very well and while Christians actions were very noble at the end, as usual so many things could have been avoided if he had just discussed it with Tara....but then that would have taken a big chunk of the story line out so I can't really complain.
