I will start by saying I did not read the first book in this series but was still able to follow and not feel like I was missing anything.I really enjoyed this one, and was immediately sucked into the story. The dynamics between Bishop and Sam were interesting, and then there is Kraven, Bishops brother thrown into the mix to give you the “love triangle”. A new Angel is introduced and you get more back story on both Bishop and Kraven, who they were and how they became who they are now.I have to say though, I think what I liked best in this story was how Samantha and her “arch nemesis” Jordan went from “frenimies” to friends.As I said, I really enjoyed this, stayed up way past my bed time to finish because I could not put it how….I just had to know what happened next.
