Loved this book, while the ARC copy did not have pictures of the recipes...which was a bit disappointing...as I would have loved to see pictures of some of the recipes in this book. The recipes were easy to follow. I liked the little bits of information/stories that proceed the recipe, some about shortcuts and some were about the recipe being one used in The American Baking Competition. I have to say the one recipe that stood out for me that I am dying to make is the Caramelized French Onion Tart....French Onion is my all time favorite soup and it never occurred to me to try making it into a tart...awesome idea.
